Many times in relationships, we don’t want to be fixed. We don’t require solutions wrapped in shiny paper with bows. We don’t need buttery soft compliments designed to cover and quiet old wounds. What we want is simply to be heard without judgment or correction. We want to be accepted without tidy repositioning of our statements to something more appropriate. We don’t want to be told who we are…we want instead the comfort and freedom to be.

We don’t want time that is measurable by a clock but with a heart.
